SIM Technology Group (SIM Technology; SEHK stock code: 2000), a leading mobile handset and wireless communications designer and developer based in Hong Kong, announced today that SIM Technology Group has been recognized as one of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2005 Program by the world renowned accounting firm Deloitte ToucheTohmatsu.This is another award following the announcement of SIM Technology’s inclusion in the Deloitte’ China TechnologyFast 50 China Program in November.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program was founded in 1995, in Silicon Valley, USA. Since 2001, the program has been introduced for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with a view to promote the development of fast growing technology companies. Today, the program is regarded as a benchmark for such companies. Deloitte applies a similar selection criteria to recognize Technology Fast 500 in Asia Pacific. Over the past three years, the number of entries from Hong Kong and China has increased year on year. Deloitte Technology Fast 50 China is introduced in 2005 for China and Hong Kong technology companies. In the Deloitte survey, SIM Technology ranked number 15 in its top 50 China Program and number 62 in its top 500 Asia Pacific Program, owing to its turbo-charged three year average revenue growth of 705 percent.
