SIM Techology Group Limited celebrated its public listing on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on 30 June 2005.
The company generously donated HK$1 million to The Community Chest of Hong kong for helping the needy and acquiring the lucky stock code "2000". Ms Yeung Man-ying (Third from Left), Chairman and Executive Director of SIM Technology Group Limited presented the donation to Mr Vernon Moore (Second from Right), BBS, Corporate and Employee Contribution Programme Organising Committee Chairman of The Commuity Chest on the day of listing.
SIM Technology Group specializes in providing wireless communications solution in China. It designs and develops mobile phone handsets, modules for other wireless communications applications and LCD display modules for portable devices. The company‘s unique service mix is to help clients bring products to market faster and more cost effectively.
Thanks to the annual grant from The Hong Kong Jocky Club, every dollar the Chest receives can be allocated in full to 143 social welfare agencies to provide comprehensive welfare services for more than 1,000,000 needy in Hong Kong without any deduction for administrative expenses.
